Meet Taylor, mother of a 20 month old who found her tribe and is giving back in the community.

Hi Everyone! I’m Taylor and I’ve been nursing Rose, my daughter, for 20 months now. I was not prepared for how often she would want/need to nurse at first. Whoever told me every 2-3 hours did not know that Rose would prefer to nurse every 30ish minutes, lol. Once I changed my mindset to see my ability to feed my baby as empowering, it all got much better! Looking back, aside from her reflux issues, we had a pretty smooth journey with breastfeeding!

Being part of the La Leche League meet-ups at the library has been super encouraging to speak with other moms who are ahead in their breastfeeding journey! It made me feel confident in my decision to continue breastfeeding into toddlerhood. I hope to pass forward help in the same way.

Our favorite place to nurse is in our bed! I love the cuddle time we get as she nurses to sleep each night.
